"that girl"

I was very much "that girl" on the NYC bus today. And that's not a good thing for any of you wondering. I had a giant suitcase that blocked the aisle and it kept rolling all over and I almost fell over everytime the bus turned. I'm not sure how New Yorkers do it, but they barely sway when the bus turns, and here I am falling over every time! Embarrassing. That is one time it is very obvious who is a New Yorker and who is not! It's ok though, I made it, I am at the airport waiting to head back to CO for a while, I can't wait!!

6 hours till the last test of the semester is over. Then probably 2 hrs of lecture as a gift from Dr. Watson because he's nice like that. Then VACATION and HOME! Woohoo!!!

NYC

I must be getting better at NYC. I literally caught the train back to CT with 20 seconds to spare. Does this mean I am better at navigating New York, or is just a sign of poor time management?

Edit: meant to publish this a couple weeks ago from the actual train ride! I think I was still a little tipsy and forgot to hit the publish button!

Sleep-or lack thereof

I think I'm a little bit of an insomniac right now. I feel tired but am awake at weird hours and sleeping at weird hours. So then I'm tired all the time. I need to get on a regimen quickly if I'm going to survive the rest of this semester.

Also...

In regards to the previously mentioned test that I thought I did well and got a C. It turns out there was a grading error as well as some poorly asked questions, and I ended up with a 92%. Yes!

GPA is officially back on track.

True Story

The weirdest day

I have had the weirdest day today.

First, I thought I failed a test and got a A (with a large curve, I'm sure), then I thought I aced a test and got a C (not final yet, but it doesn't look promising), and then I came home and there were 3 turkeys behind my building.

Why do turkeys wander around here? Is that weird to anyone else but me?

These tests are getting harder and harder! I just took a 100 question test with 95 of them being true/false...ouch.

New Events

Here are the things are happening with me as of right now:

1. I may or may not have failed my neuro test today. It was really hard. There were questions about corpuscles. Anyone know what a corpuscle it? No? That's what I thought.
2. Today, I put my super cute Denver house up for sale. I'm really sad/happy about it. I love that house, but I think I am ready to move up and on. But, it is so cute, I will miss it a lot.
   
3. The only problem is that there is a complete psycho who refuses to leave my Denver basement. I'm trying to figure out how to market him as an "interestingly-charming"-tenant-who-comes-with-the-property-because-he-won't-leave-and-his-mom-is-also-squatting-on-an-air-mattress-in-the-basement-and-likes-to-clean-because-she-has-no-job.
4. I think it should sell quickly, don't you?
   
5. I am feeling the snowboard bug and I am really sad I do not have to Colorado Pass for this year. Or the next 3 years. But I'm sure the icy slopes of Vermont will be just as good...NOT.
6. I deleted the Jersey Shore from my DVR. This is huge. Ask anyone.

Look at this dog!

He is so dang cute, and I miss him so bad! If I had ANY money at all, he would live here. But, since I am poor and next year my life will be crazy with clinicals, he still lives in Denver. But, he is still my boy. And he has agreed to live forever.

Good news

First A & P test = A.

Too bad that doesn't make me feel any more confident about the 5 more tests that are in my future for this class.

Life Lessons

Trying not to have regrets, anyways. But I am definitely learning a A LOT of life lessons lately.
